Decisions to be made

Well I am sitting here drinking my coffee, with a huge something in my stomace. I have been thinking about buying a business, pagan, new age, whatever ya call it. Have talked to the owner and spoke breifly with a couple of banks, now I need the details, write up a business plan and present it the banks and maybe a couple of investors that I may also have lined up.

It's not the business I really want, but then I am not sure what I want would work in the small town I live in, an Herb and Tea Shoppe would have to sell alot online because of the gas prices are going steadly uphill. Is this the right time to start something up, or even purchase? Well I will be making some more phone calls today to get the details at least I can look into it, that never hurts.

I think that is a wonderful idea...especially because it is what you want...I say go for it and good luck!

Thanks Dark Phoenix. I have gone ahead and got active with the established business that is for sale. Although there is the economy to think of this business is set in a "tourist town". The little city of Rockford has many things including a farmers market every week-end from June thru Oct. They have a Celtic festival every year, Rogue River Blues Series showcases local jazz, blues, and folk music artists at the dam which is right down the street, canoe rentals couple buildings over. They also have White Pine Trail, an old railroad line, converted into a recreational trail right next to Rogue River.

This and alot more bring a lot of people down to the square where the store is located.

I figure with gas prices so high and people traveling not as far this little town will be more active since its close to Grand Rapids, and they set it up really nice.

I'll keep ya all posted, and keep your fingers crossed that I can purchase this little store.
